Masonry

MASONRY (AS CONSTRUCTION TYPE) Masonry buildings may be made of brick, stone, or CMU (concrete masonry units, or concrete block). CMU buildings constructed since WWII are generally reinforced, often sufficiently to meet the 75% of today's standards covered in the live/work code. Un-reinforced masonry buildings are more problematic, and are covered elsewhere.
